Samaritan’s Feet, in partnership with Penquis, is coming to Maine! In the spring of 2024, Samaritan’s Feet will host shoe distributions to serve the community and give shoes to children, adults, and seniors in Bangor, Maine, and surrounding counties.
These shoe distribution events will be an exciting time as the community joins together to show compassion to families in need as they receive a Hope Tote filled with new athletic shoes (or lightweight, anti-slip shoes for seniors), socks, and other encouraging materials.
Samaritan’s Feet believes that a new pair of shoes can provide a tangible foundation of hope and the opportunity for a better life, prompt children to focus on school and families not to worry, provide seniors with increased mobility, health and wellness and protect feet to decrease the possibility of getting a foot-borne disease.
