Give New Shoes to Children in Need in Nashville

We are thrilled to announce Kids Dental Day on July 19th, hosted by the Nashville Sounds in collaboration with Delta Dental of Tennessee, Neighborhood Health, Meharry School of Dentistry, Interfaith Dental, cityCURRENT, Samaritan’s Feet, and other local organizations. This wonderful event provides children with free dental screenings and cleanings, along with new socks and shoes.

During Kids Dental Day, children will receive a comprehensive dental exam and limited treatment from dentists and dental students from Meharry School of Dentistry, Neighborhood Health and Interfaith Dental. Additionally, each child will receive a new pair of shoes and socks, helping them step into the school year with confidence.

To make this event a success, we need your support. Every $25 donated will provide a child with a brand-new pair of athletic sneakers and socks. Your contribution will make a significant impact and is deeply appreciated. Join us in making a difference in our community!

About Samaritan's Feet

Samaritan’s Feet is a non-profit organization that serves and inspires hope in children by providing shoes as the foundation to a spiritual and healthy life resulting in the advancement of education and economic opportunities. Over 30 years ago, a boy in Nigeria, Manny Ohonme, received his first pair of shoes at the age of nine. That simple gifted prompted him to play basketball and follow his dreams, ultimately earning him a college basketball scholarship in the United States. A pair of shoes changed his life. So in 2003, Manny and his wife Tracie, started Samaritan’s Feet with a goal of giving hope through the gift of shoes.
