Volunteer Offsite

Are you in the Charlotte area and looking for a way to serve in a safe, impactful way? We have opportunities for you! Although we have created a safe volunteer environment in our Charlotte warehouse, we understand some people feel more comfortable serving in their home.

Individuals, families, work teams, churches, or school clubs are great groups to volunteer off-site for us.

At this time, the off-site volunteer work schedule is full. Please check back soon for more opportunities.

Samaritan's Feet will help provide logistical support for supplies, along with detailed instructions on completing your tasks.

FAQS About Volunteering Off-Site

Can I show up to pick-up and drop-off at any time?

As much as we love our volunteers, we must make sure supplies are appropriately prepared. All volunteer opportunities are by appointment only. Please complete the form at the bottom of this webpage to schedule your appointment.

When are you open for pick-up and drop-off?

We are open for pick-up and drop-off Monday-Friday from 9:00am-12:00pm and from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

What if my vehicle is not big enough?

We scale our supplies to fit into your vehicle. Please make sure that your trunk is clear of items and that you can receive the communicated number of boxes/bags. If this may still be a challenge for you, we encourage you to check out our opportunities in the warehouse!

What is the usual turnaround time for at-home projects?

We require all at-home volunteers to sign a responsibility and liability form for our supplies. We will schedule a drop-off date when we schedule your pick-up. We require that the window between drop-off and pick-up does not exceed two weeks.

What kind of tasks will be done?

Our at home opportunities involve writing Hope Notes, sorting and pairing socks, creating Hope Totes, stuffing envelopes, and other small tasks that help support our day-to-day operations.
