Give New Shoes to Children in Harrisonville

From June 10th through Sept 20th, you can support our Harrisonville students, Bright Futures, and Samaritan’s Feet International by helping out a local child in need. By joining in, you will share hope, encouragement, and enhance students’ self-esteem through the gift of a new pair of sneakers, new socks, and a “Hope Tote” as our kids kick off the new school year.

Please help our Pre-K through 8th grade students, and the community, by donating $2 or more below and/or buying and donating a new pair of sneakers and dropping it off in one of the Samaritan’s Feet “new sneaker” drop boxes at the WMT 6065 DC, Harrisonville. We invite you to support this initiative by helping a kiddo “kick off” the new school year on the right foot and share love through the gift of new athletic shoes.

About Samaritan's Feet

Samaritan’s Feet is a non-profit organization that serves and inspires hope in children by providing shoes as the foundation to a spiritual and healthy life resulting in the advancement of education and economic opportunities. Over 30 years ago, a boy in Nigeria, Manny Ohonme, received his first pair of shoes at the age of nine. That simple gifted prompted him to play basketball and follow his dreams, ultimately earning him a college basketball scholarship in the United States. A pair of shoes changed his life. So in 2003, Manny and his wife Tracie, started Samaritan’s Feet with a goal of giving hope through the gift of shoes.
