Volunteers are always needed in our warehouse, as we process hundreds of thousands of shoes each year! Your time volunteering will not only provide a child with the gift of new shoes, but also a message of hope and compassion.
Volunteers are always needed in our warehouse, as we process hundreds of thousands of shoes each year! Your time volunteering will not only provide a child with the gift of new shoes, but also a message of hope and compassion.
We encourage all volunteers bring a donation of $25 per volunteer or a new pair of children’s athletic shoes as part of your volunteer experience in our warehouse.
Volunteers are not required to wear a mask while serving in the warehouse. All Samaritan's Feet staff will wear masks while interacting with volunteers.
In order to volunteer at Samaritan's Feet, individuals must be a minimum of eight years of age and must be chaperoned by an adult at all times. Please note that we require all minors to be chaperoned in a ratio of one adult to every five minors.
Currently, volunteer sessions are on Tuesdays-Fridays and Saturdays, by reservation only.
As much as we love our volunteers, we must make sure supplies are appropriately prepared. All volunteer opportunities are by appointment only. Please complete the form at the bottom of this webpage to schedule your appointment.
We offer shifts Tuesday-Saturday from 9:00am-12:00pm.
Our warehouse maximum is currently 75 individuals per shift. During the weekdays, we have no minimums. However, on Saturdays, our minimum is 15 individuals. If you would like to work on a Saturday, but have less than 15 people in your group, please still fill out our volunteer interest form as there may be groups you can join with on your preferred date.
When coming into the Samaritan’s Feet warehouse, individuals may be asked to sort shoes by style, lefts, rights, and size, or they may be asked to pair shoes together by like-grouping. These tasks are essential for helping our team prepare shoes for shipment locally, nationally, and internationally.
Our warehouse is accessible utilizing ADA compliant parking, curb-cuts, and entry ways. Please note that our floor is mainly carpeted, but in some areas our volunteers will encounter concrete. With our volunteers who may have various sensory needs, here are some of the things individuals might encounter:
Should you have accommodation needs, please contact volunteer@samaritansfeet.org to discuss directly. We would love to ensure that our space and tasks are best set up to meet you or your group’s needs.
We welcome children aged eight and above to serve in our warehouse. All minors must be chaperoned by a legal guardian or approved trusted adult in a ratio of one adult to every five children. Additionally, all minors must have a completed waiver signed by their legal guardian in order to volunteer with Samaritan’s Feet. If you do not have a printer, a waiver will be provided for you at the time of your event.
Currently, Samaritan’s Feet does not require masks or proof of vaccination. We recommend following current CDC guidelines.

Many companies have programs through which they will “match” the charitable contributions made by their employees. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply your donation to Samaritan’s Feet, making it go further.
Check with your company’s Human Resources office to see if they offer gift matching. If your employer does offer this program, your Human Resources department should provide you with a matching gift form to send to us, along with your donation. Complete this form and mail it with your donation to:
